The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards

This is definitely a page turner, soap opera-ish story that’s not very well written but sucked me in and kept me up much too late two nights in a row trying to finish it.  I suppose that says something.  It centers around a child born with Downs Syndrome whose father gave her away at birth after telling his wife that the child had died.  That sicko mindset was enough to make me want to keep reading. (fiction)
