Despite the title, this is actually a beautiful story of a 90 year old man who has spent his whole life with whores but ends up falling in love with Ida, a 14 year old virgin.  Like much of Marquez’s writing, he intertwines the real with the mystical and dreamy such that we’re never sure what’s real and what’s not.  This is different, but good.  (fiction)
